As our ministry and life in the parish grows and enlivens we're happy to announce a few changes:

Morning Prayer & Reflection

Starting on June 6 Fr. Matthew will have the church open, Monday-Friday*, from 8-9 for said morning prayer and personal reflection. Everyone is welcome to come and start their day in prayer. Between morning prayers at St. John, and daily noontime prayers at St. George (at 12:30) you have two daily weekday opportunities for prayer and reflection!

Parish Bookstore

Through the hard work of one of our parishioners we're starting a bookstore! You'll be able to buy gifts, prayer ropes, icons, books, and soaps, lotions, and incense from the Hermitage of the Holy Cross.

We also will feature a book and have a book club. Our first book will be Our Thoughts Determine Our Lives: The Life and Teachings of Elder Thaddeus of Vitovnika, which you can purchase at a discounted rate through our store. There will be more info forthcoming.

Parish Greeters

To welcome everyone in love, member and vistor alike, starting on June 6th we start a greeter rotation. Greeters will be responsible for welcoming and handing out bulletins, monitoring the Narthex, and ensuring that the entrance is closed during the particular times of the Liturgy when, out of holy respect we wait to enter the church. If you're interested in joining please contact Fr. Matthew at the office!

Women's Breakfast Club

Starting on June 2, and then on the first Thursday of every month, our ladies will meet for breakfast and fellowship. Keep an eye out for a postcard with more information!

*The Church will be closed on days when Father has to travel for work or is away for vacation. If you plan to visit, please see our calendar
